Volubilis, Rabat, and Casablanca
•
Me at the Roman ruins at Volubilis. This is the furthest Roman outpost and
a beautifully preserved city.
The city Moulay Idriss through the arches (L) and an olive press just like the
one we saw in use in Anamer (R)
A few of the beautiful mosaics on the ground in Volubilis
Lisa standing near some of the large columns.
A picture of all of us (Pedro, Lisa, Kris, Mat--L to R)
Some of the flowers at Volubilis and some of the writing still preserved on top
of one of the arches.
In the Oudiaya in Rabat
Just a few of the amazing doorways and streets of the Oudiaya in Rabat.
A Moroccan girl walking through the Oudiaya and boats on the river feeding into
the sea.
Our last stop was Casablanca. Since the movie is what most of us know
best, we figured it best to go.
My son Matthew and I went to dinner at Rick's Cafe which has been modeled on the
film.
Fun end to an amazing trip.
