Hanoi is a really beautiful city and was a nice cool break from the screaming
heat of the south. This is from the first university
of Vietnam, called the Temple of Learning or Temple of Confucius.
We did have the chance to see the traditional water puppets, though late at
night when were just about nodding off the whole time.
We went to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum where his body is still on display.
Also went, though didn't stay, at the "Hanoi Hilton" where many US POW's were
interred during the war.
We had great food, shared with our new friends in Hanoi.
...and saw, but didn't sample, some of the Vietnamese whiskey that is flavored
by having animals in the bottle.
