Asia and Eden riding the school bus the first day.  They didn't even want us to take them to school, they were
so excited to ride the yellow school bus that they have only seen in pictures so far!

Asia and Eden with their little kittens.  Sadly enough, Asia's cat died last week and Eden's cat disappeared about 6

Eden and Asia had a "Western" dress up day at school.  Eden looks pretty cute in chaps!

Samara is modeling a retro outfit that her Dad wore 30+ years ago.

We took trip with my mom and sister to Yellowstone Park

Saw Old Faithful

and some buffalo herds

This is from a hike I took the first weekend in September to the Teton Mountains.

An amazing blue sky!

Okay, here is the brief version of the bear story, if you haven't heard it.  I came out of a group of trees and saw this black bear a little ways away.
She was walking toward me and looking down.  I made noise so that she wouldn't come closer and she looked up and started toward me, but
faster now, watching me the whole time.  I had no idea what to do so I shouted and yelled and waved my arms, hoping to frighten her off.  Well,
about halfway to me she reared up on her hind legs and just looked at me.  Then she went down on all fours and walked the other direction.  This is
a picture I took as she walked the other direction and then looked back at me.  After it all happened, I looked at my pictures and thought "Why
didn't I take one of when she was charging me and rearing up?"  Then I remembered, I thought I was bear meat for sure and wasn't thinking pictures!

What a beautiful place, only an hour drive from our house.

This was a great rainbow seen from our house.  Asia and one of the neighbor's daughters are jumping on the trampoline.  Can you see our grass growing?
