This summer we took a trip to Washington and Oregon to see our families.  This is a picture of the girls in the North Cascades
on a bridge across a river in the forest.  Such a beautiful place.

 
We also went to Lake Chelan

At the cabin at Lake Chelan, I had the hummingbirds resting on my finger while they ate.  Brave little guys.

 
Spent a couple nights on Guemes in the San Juan Islands

 
The girls did the traditional writing their names in the sand wall--though I helped Samara a little bit.

Had a great time visiting with my grandmother, Edie and her friend Sparky

   
We had the great opportunity to go to a Seattle Mariners game with my family.

And a quick trip to the Pike Place Market in Seattle

And Rachel and I had a drive in Tony's car--what fun!

We also went to Oregon to see Rachel's family.  We had a big Richardson reunion.  These are all the cousins from the Richardson side.

I don't know why I took so few pictures, but Asia did waterski which was really amazing.
