Alfredo Sauce

a simple, traditional white sauce.  Can be jazzed up with some pesto or smoked ham.

       1 c  Heavy Cream or Whipping Cream (unwhipped, of course)

       1 c  Pecorino Romano Cheese, freshly grated

1        Stick Butter, softened

Bring cream to boil in heavy medium saucepan.  Add butter and ½ cup of parmesan cheese.  Combine pasta, sauce and remaining ½ cup parmesan in large bowl.  Toss to coat pasta evenly and serve.
